While using Aptana IDE with RadRails I ran into several issues:

1. The installed version of Subclipse really doesn’t like spaces in workspace names and, of course, the install workspace name, “Aptana Studio Workspace”, has several.
2. Pretty much every word is flagged as misspelled: this is becuase Aptana doesn’t include a dictionary. This is easily fixed by downloading a word list and entering its location in the “spelling” preferences dialog.
3. Not sure if necessary, but it is probably best to install (for Windows) the Ruby One-Click-Installer before installing RadRails. Otherwise, I think the default is to use JRuby, which is probably not what you want.
4. Under CentOS 5.x, Enterprise Ruby seems to be the best choice.
